Dear Edge Studio Clients



We are very happy to tell you that we will be reopening Edge Studios for business from June 15th, in-line with government guidelines.

We will be delivering a safe and secure working and creative environment going beyond the latest government guidelines. We will strive to attain the highest level of service and performance that you demand and deserve from Edge Studios.

We have set up the studio to ensure social distancing is possible with multiple entrances and exits, an isolated safe space and controlled workflows. We have separate entrances for clients and staff, and the space to maintain social distancing in the control room for a maximum of 4 people at a time and live room spacing for up to 6 people. 

We have worked on a number of procedures in order to safeguard our clients and our staff whilst the COVID-19 pandemic continues to wind down.

Before your session we will email you the guidelines for a safe recording environment. We kindly ask you to follow the guidelines laid out in these notices. Printed copies will be available at the studio. Any studio equipment used by the band will be sterilised before and after each session day.

Please feel free to call us to discuss how these measures will work and what you can expect from the sessions. We strongly advise that you use your own PPE and wear masks where possible. Each band member needs to carry their own equipment in and out of the studio. All used studio equipment will be disinfected at the end of each session and we have hand steriliser available through out the studio.We ask for your help and assistance in regard to testing, tracking and tracing as and when the various Government initiatives become widely available. 

We will ask clients to certify in advance that all attendees are healthy as far as they know prior to entering the building. As a result we will ask you to indemnify Edge upon confirmation in respect to any Covid-19 claims or complaints in connection to the session. Each member of the band will have their own personal space in the studio and it should not be necessary to switch positions with other members, thus keeping the personal environment clean.

We expect to have the highest levels of hygiene.

We will deep clean all equipment pre- and post-usage, including sterilisation where appropriate.

We shall operate a constant cleaning policy on all touch points in the studio.

After cleaning, the studio will be sealed to ensure nobody enters until your session begins. 

Regarding food and drink, we request that you bring your own food to the studio for individual consumption.

After each session, we will disinfect all door handles, power and light switches, amp knobs, drum hardware, mic stands and desks etc. so that we are safe and ready for the next day. This, combined with other sanitisation protocols, will help minimise risk of virus transmission. 

Our toilets will have hand soap and disinfectant spray in both cubicles to spray over the flush handles and door latches, as well as anti-viral hand wash.
